Breast Cancer Day 30 - My Rant On Bras
I had the strangest appointment today. Apparently, after a mastectomy, I'm expected to wear a bra?? I don't want to wear a bra. For the first time since I was prepubescent, I will have chance not to wear this annoying, sweaty harness of boobage. Throw in the occasional heat rash every summer, what's not to love about wearing a bra, right? WRONG!! Aside from kicking cancer in the ass, the second benefit that I see is never having to wear a bra again!
A visit to a local surgical supply store specializing in mastectomy bras shook me to the core. I didn't like it!
