Hey guys, in this tutorial, I show you how to make better wooden planks for unreal engine archviz.
I take the textures from megascans, and improve them by doing the following 2 things,
increase the contrast and lower the reflectivity of the cracks/creaves/cavity of the wood planks and
adding parallax occlusion mapping to it to give it a little 'bump'.
Photorealism is not just in lighting!!! It is also as much in the materials/shaders. :D
