My hike in northern Sweden along the Kungsleden (king's trail). This is the last section of a hike called "Fjällräven Classic Sweden". It is a massive hiking event where 2000 hikers participate (but it was less that year, because this was in 2021). The race is sure worth checking out, I loved every bit of it! The 110 km rugged mountain trail is not guided but you find check points every 20-25 km where you can get water, drinks, food and a stamp in your trail book.

Fjallraven Classic is a long distance hike in Europe, in the northernmost part of Sweden near the Norwegian and Finnish border. It starts not far away from Kiruna (in the small village of Nikkaluokta). The finish line is in Abisko.
This part of the trail vlog leads me from Alesjaure Fjällstation over the Kieron plateau to Abiskojaure. It took us two days, but if you are very experienced, you can also do it in one. We were right on time again, because we cought up to the initial trail plan before. So we had one day to reach Kieron from Alesjaure and one for the rest of the hike.
After hiking in the swedish mountains for 5 days, this flat and easy section was a relief and the weather was awesome. I do recommend finishing this part rather fast and spending more time between Singi and Alesjaure instead, because that is the most breathtaking part of the hike. As in other sections, you will find a lot of water on your way, and the terrain is very beginner-friendly.
