How to Manage Variables | Proto.io Prototyping Tool
Learn how to manage variables in Proto.io in this short tutorial video.
Variables can enable you to do lots of amazing functions in Proto.io, for example, creating a slider with a changing value, or the ability to tap an image and have it’s text label change. Your options with variables are, well, almost endless.
Sometimes, however, you’ve created too many variables and need to delete a few, edit 1 or 2, or simply start from scratch.
Now, from within an interaction, there is no way to do this. All you are given is a list of variables to choose from.
To view and edit all of your variables, click on the settings tab.
Next, select on Variables Manager. From here, you can view all of your variables in one place: You can see the type of variable, for example numeric or text or boolean - as well as its value. You can then decide to edit by clicking on the pencil, or, delete a variable.
Once done, click done.
