She was CHEATING on Xbox?!
She was accused of cheating/hacking on Xbox. I’ll let this random video serve as the perfect example of why evidence is very important in situations like this. In this video, a player was accused of cheating. I went along with it to see what was going on but all I found were plain accusations. I did talk to her and her henchmen and all I got out of that party chat was that evidence is important and I think I made myself look like a fool. Lol.
A while back, I was playing some Versus on Left 4 Dead 2 and we were up against a sweaty competition on the enemy team. This is one of the things that ruined versus games on Left 4 Dead 2. Some people treat it like a huge competition so finding sweats on the game is common. My team was winning but despite that, I had teammates claim the alleged Xbox Hacker who we call Lisa, was cheating. There was no evidence of her cheating and I did not see anything out of the ordinary when playing. As my teammates came and went, another one joined the lobby, noticed me, and sent me a message that Lisa was cheating.
Two complaints by two different players in the same game is definitely suspicious and raises a lot of questions. Perhaps Lisa was cheating after all and managed to fly under my nose undetected. So I responded to one of the players but never got a response. Lisa and her team eventually left the game. I messaged Lisa to tell her to stop cheating. She acted confused and I noticed she left the game so I disregarded her for the most part. I continued to play Versus in a different chapter.
Lisa messaged me back, telling me to join her Xbox Party Chat. I decided why not, and accepted her invite. The party was basically a “he said, she said” ordeal. I explained that my message was based off of suspicions because of two messages and they were basically accusations as there was no evidence. Long story short, she ended up remembering me from the time when she helped me defeat my sheep teammates a while ago on Left 4 Dead 2.
I guess the moral of the story is that evidence is very important. So when people DM me on Twitter or email me, I hope they understand that I can’t simply confront someone based off of what someone was claiming. Someone can be lying, but evidence does not lie and justifies a confrontation.
