Xbox Account Thief Tries to Hack Me. And he did kinda hack me but that’s only because I let him. Granted, I didn’t send him my real account information. I made a Smurf account. But I guess that little trick did not make him happy, so he blocked me AFTER getting banned. Yes, the Xbox Account Thief got banned while I was in a party chat with him but not because of stealing and hacking Xbox accounts. He was banned because of a message that was reported by one of his friends. Since saying swear words is a whole lot worse than stealing and hacking other people’s Xbox accounts. Go, Microsoft!
I was in the Xbox LFG, and I saw a post that read “I will mod your account for free be legit.” Obvious red flag. It’s unlikely someone would mod a GTA account for free but on top of that, trusting a stranger on Xbox to let them access your Xbox account? Not many players would fall for something like this. But the Xbox Looking for Groups has young minds in it that don’t fully understand that there are messed up people on the Xbox Network. So obviously, I got interested in the Xbox Account Thief’s post and he messaged me. He was very insisted on getting me email and password. But I wanted to get him in an Xbox Party Chat first.
The Xbox Account Thief did send me an Xbox Party Chat invite, and vaguely explained the process of modding accounts. He claimed to have done it through Rockstar Games’ social club but that was a lie. He was hacking real Xbox Accounts, not just modding GTA accounts. He showed off one of the accounts he stole which he claimed belonged to him, and used it to try to convince me that he can mod accounts. He showed me a blue jeep with modded wheels in GTA. Someone who mods Xbox accounts for free wouldn’t be so pushy and insistent. It’s also worth mentioning that the Xbox Account Thief claimed that he mods Xbox accounts for free because he doesn’t like it when people use their money. Meanwhile… the Xbox Accounts he hacks and steals may contain payment information. So the irony here is sky high.
I created a Smurf Xbox Account to troll the Xbox Account Thief. I quickly made an email, and created an Xbox Account, opened up GTA from my Xbox game library, then signed out. I sent the login information of that Smurf account to the Xbox Account Thief. This little stunt did upset him and he just kept blocking me. I don’t know if did steal the Xbox Account. It was working yesterday but the next day, the password seemed to be correct but my Xbox kept giving me an error. I don’t know what happened but the Xbox account was worth NOTHING. It had no stored games, no stored personal information, no stored payment information, nothing. It was a completely smurf Xbox account that wasn’t even worth taking, even by the Xbox Account Thief’s standards.
So the Xbox Account Thief eventually blocked me. I decided to message the friends that were on his account. I only messaged 2 of them since they were the only ones online at the time. The first one never responded. The second friend responded because his brother was a victim of the Xbox Account Thief. The victim messaged me and told me the Xbox Account Thief hacked his Xbox Account. While the way he explained it doesn’t make a lot of sense. I’m pretty sure the Xbox Account Thief convinced the victim that he’s modding accounts, and gained his trust for login information but no one really knows. At the end, I directly messaged the Xbox Account Hacker but he did not have a lot to say and eventually stopped talking to me.
