Trigger thumb is a common type of repetitive strain injury that can be resulted from sustained or repetitive gripping, pinching or pressing with the thumb in everyday activities.
While having trigger thumb can affect your ability to perform daily tasks effectively, this condition can be self-managed during its early onset through activity modification, usage of a splint and appropriate exercises.
Through this video, you will learn some simple thumb exercises that will help to reduce pain and maintain flexibility of your affected thumb. You will also learn how to put on your splint correctly on your affected thumb.
