In the last work, about 8 hundred skulls were added, supplemented by documented data from other researchers, from the Late Pleistocene to the Holocene or the present from Northeast and Southeast Asia, as well as from Oceania.
On the graph, using 16 cranial measurements, based on Martin’s definitions, from the male samples from 89 samples, a division into two in two main clusters is observed. The first includes the Australian-Melanesians, as well as the Late Pleistocene - Early Holocene Eastern and South-Eastern Asians (the red circle on the graph), which are closely related to the pre-farming situation and the sub-neolithic Hoabin culture. The second includes the northeast and east Asians (blue circle), as well as the southeast Asians, mostly related to early agriculture (Neolithic) and late populations.
