How to connect to a hidden WiFi network with an iPhone
In order to connect to a hidden WiFi network, it’s very important that you know exactly how the hidden WiFi network name is spelled. That’s because you need to manually type in this network name when connecting to the hidden WiFi network.
Punctuation and capitalization matter as well. If you miss a capitalized letter (or enter a wrong punctuation mark), your iPhone won’t be able to find the hidden WiFi network when it tries to connect to it.
Once you confirm the name and password of the hidden WiFi network, you can connect to it by completing the following steps:
-First, access the settings page of your iPhone
-In the settings page, select WiFi to bring up more options for your wireless network
-On the WiFi settings page, select “Other…” under the “Other Networks” header
-In the next screen, enter the exact name of the hidden WiFi network, along with the password for the network and select “Join”
-If the information for the hidden WiFi network is entered correctly, your iPhone will successfully connect to the wireless network
