How to see the WiFi password of the network your laptop is connected to
If you have a laptop with Windows 11 installed, it’s a pretty easy process to see the password of the WiFi network it’s currently connected to.
First, you need to access the WiFi settings of your laptop by selecting the WiFi symbol in the lower right-hand corner of your laptop’s desktop screen.
Next, you need to expand the WiFi information of the wireless network your laptop is currently connected to by clicking the arrow next to the WiFi network name.
Once the WiFi panel is expanded, select the informational “i” next to the WiFi network that you’re currently connected to in order to see more details about the WiFi network.
On the screen that opens, select “View” next to the “View Wi-Fi Security Key” header. This will display the password of the WiFi network.
These steps can also be followed to see the password of any WiFi network your laptop has previously connected to. To get to the list of networks that your laptop has connected to, select the WiFi icon again in the lower right-hand corner of your laptop’s desktop screen.
Expand the WiFi settings again by clicking the arrow next to the WiFi network that you’re currently connected to. Next, select “More Wi-Fi Settings” at the bottom of the expanded WiFi settings window.
On the page that opens, select “Manage known networks” to see the list of all the WiFi networks that your laptop has connected to.
To see the stored password of any of these networks, select the name of the WiFi network, followed by “View” next to the “View Wi-Fi Security Key” header.
