RAW partition recovery: How to recover files from RAW partition?
Hi, Welcome to our channel. Today we are going to discuss how to recover files from RAW partition.
A partition on your hard drive or external hard drive may become RAW due to corrupted file system, virus, bad sectors, damaged partition table, etc. If you try to access the partition in File Explorer, you will get an error message such as "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable". When you check it in Disk Management, you see its file system is shown as RAW.
If you have important files on the RAW drive, follow steps I am going to show here, you will surely recover them easily.
Step1: Go to the site www.diskgenius.com, download the software and install and launch it.
Step 2: After launching DiskGenius, right-click on the corrupted partition and choose "Load Current Partition Intelligently".
This function can rapidly load files from corrupted NTFS partition as long as the partition is not damaged to a very bad extent.
If this function does not work on your drive, then use File Recovery to scan it.
Step 3: Now you can preview listed files to check if needed files are correct. Double-click a file to preview it.
Step 4: To recover files, you need to copy them to a specified location.
That’s it, files are recovered from RAW drive
Now, as you have your data, you can format the RAW partition to make it accessible again.
