Step 1. Free download and install the disk health check software, DiskGenius Free Edition: https://www.diskgenius.com/free.php

Step 2. Once it’s installed, just open the app and you can see all connected drives on your computer.

Step 3. Right-click the drive for which you want to check health status, then choose “View S.M.A.R.T. information”.

Step 4. On the pop-up window, you can view the model number, health status, temperature, total host writes, power on hours, remaining life, and many other attributes.
