How to migrate Windows 10 to an SSD? [FREE]
Welcome to our tutorial on migrating Windows. This video shows the process of migrating Windows 10 operating system to an SSD using a free too DiskGenius Free Edition. So there is no need to buy any software regarding transferring Windows 10/11.

Before we begin, please ensure that your SSD is properly installed and recognized by your computer. Then launch the software.
Step 1. Click the “OS Migration” button.
Step 2. Select the destination disk and click “OK”.
Step 3. You can set the partition size on the destination disk.
Step 4. Click the Start button to initiate the process.
Step 5. Click the Hot Migration button. Then wait for the process to finish.
The system migration process is read-only to existing operating system and boot files, and thus it’s safe to try.
Once the migration is complete, the Windows of the source disk or the destination disk is bootable. If you want to boot from the destination disk, you just need to restart computer and boot to bios setting to set the SSD as the boot drive.
