Here are steps to wipe a USB flash drive completely on Windows 10.
Step 1. Plug your USB drive in your computer’s USB port. Make sure it can be detected by computer.
Step 2. Select the USB drive, click “Tools” and choose “Erase Sectors”.
Step 3. Select characters to overwrite data, and click “Erase”.
Step 4. Once completed, create a new partition on the USB drive. (The disk wiping process erases data, partition and partition table completely, and there will be unallocated space only on the USB drive).
