You can store your Desktop and Documents folder in iCloud Drive and access them on all your devices, including your Macs, iPhones, iPads and on iCloud.com. Everything automatically stays up to date everywhere.
Before you begin, please update your operating systems to the latest versions and make sure that you are logged into your iCloud account on all the devices. Also make sure, that iCloud Drive is enabled on all the devices.
Turn on Desktop and Documents on every Mac that you want to use with iCloud Drive:
From your Mac, go to Apple menu - System Preferences - iCloud.
Make sure that iCloud Drive is turned on.
Next to iCloud Drive, click Options.
Choose Desktop & Documents Folders.
Click Done.
To access the files on your Mac:
You can find the files on your Desktop and in your Documents folder in Finder under iCloud. You can also search for the titles with Spotlight.
To access your files on your iPhone, use the Files app.
To access your files on iCloud.com, log in and click iCloud Drive.
