When you install macOS Sierra, the installer will ask if you want to enable Siri. If you don’t want to enable Siri at installation, you can activate it later in the System Preferences. You’ll find Siri icons in two locations: In the Dock, and in your menu bar

Launch Siri by clicking on either one of the icons, You can also set up a keyboard shortcut in System Preferences - Siri (Default keystroke is CMD+Space):

Siri appears in a small window in the top right corner.

You can ask “Siri, what can you do?”:

You can adjust the Siri preferences to your liking by going to System Preferences - Siri:

If you have signed into your social accounts on your Mac, you can use commands like, “Tweet, this is awesome,” and more:

Siri on the desktop is a lot like Siri on your iPhone. She can tell you what movies are playing, remind of what you want, where and when you want it. Pull files from finder or search the web for images.
