How to use Instant Markup on macOS Mojave

In macOS Mojave, adding markup to any document is very easy! Simply preview any document by selecting it and hitting space. Click on the markup icon and the markup interface will appear. You can add text, arrows, lines and much more. Once you are done simply click ‘Done”.

Remember that this icon will appear not only in Finder but also Mail, Notes and many other apps. However in some cases you may need to either open it in Preview first (full pause) or click on the arrow and choose Markup!

You can also markup on any screenshot you take. Just take a screenshot like you would usually do, then click on the thumbnail that appears in the bottom right corner. This will open the markup interface at once! When done, just close the window.
