Why sunflowers need full sun
It's in the name.
Sunflowers love - as you might have guessed - sun!
Now, if you do get some shade or dappled sunlight, the plants will still grow and give you flowers. It just might not thrive quite as much. For those of you with limited space, I recommend still giving them a shot!
