This is a skill we need to maintain for a better quality of life. Sitting and standing is something we’ll need to do forever so it’s important we keep practice this ability, especially without the use of our hands. This will keep our lower body strong and mobile. Hinging at the hips is extremely important when practicing this exercise which is another useful skill for everyday life to protect our back. Start with a stack of pillows at first to reduce the range. If you have lower back or knee issues, please address that first prior to doing this routine without hands.
