I'm a veg head.
But I've been learning about and practicing growing flowers much more intentionally the last few years.
There are some heat-loving flowers, but most do well when we have cooler and moderate temperatures. Shade cloth to the rescue!
Shade cloth doesn't limit the number of hours of sunlight your plants receive, just the intensity of that sunlight. That can help protect delicate petals.
A really cool side benefit is that I tend to get longer stems too. That makes a perfect situation for cut flowers and arrangements too!
