It doesn't get any easier than this!
When you have a baby, gardening just gets pushed back a little bit at times. That's why I'm such a fan of calendula.
If you forget to deadhead, that's okay! Just let the seeds develop. When they're dried out, you can just toss the seeds around your garden.
That's how I've been letting flowers grow the past couple of years, and nature has been doing its thing!
