The female driver of the van was stopped and double-parked in the eastbound traffic lane of Alta View Dr. She was waiting for another driver to pull out from the curb so she could park.
The female driver of the car was driving eastbound, and the sun was low in the sky, possibly blinding her as she ran into the van's rear. The car driver was checked out by the paramedics and released, and the other driver was not injured.
