The Police received a call of a shooting outside of the Machete Beer House.
The arriving officers found a male with a gunshot wound to his leg. He told the officers that he had been shot by someone else.
The male was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. Detectives arrived and started their investigation. It wasn’t found out until hours later that the male had lied.
The victim had a gun in his pants and was fumbling around with it, and the gun went off, shooting himself. Northbound traffic lanes were reopened at 7:00 am after being shut down for hours.
