"Interstellar" (Demon) by Darwin [All Coins] | Geometry Dash 2.1
Yet another Darwin level, but this time it's a really nice one in my opinion. (All his levels are really nice actually, let's say this is really really nice). It has some very interesting block design and color combinations, making it stand out more than his most recent ones to me. The fact that it's almost 2 minutes long makes it even better. I really like playing levels that are this long, because they have so much more to offer (given that the quality stays the same all the way). This is not as easy as most of his other demons. It might get rated Hard Demon by the community, because of the length of the level. I died a lot at the wave part at 01:45, which was really annoying. I don't know why, but Darwin likes putting hard mini wave parts towards the end of his levels 8( The black glow on the left side of the screen in this part is a bit too much to the right by the way, fix Darwin 8)
👉 Overall coin rating: Silver. 2/4. The coins are overall decent, but the first one is a bit worse (less original).
- 1st coin: Bronze. A typical harder route coin at 01:01. Obviously, this coin is slightly harder than the normal route, but I could still get it every attempt because of the speed of this part. It has zero originality, which is why it gets Bronze.
- 2nd coin: Silver. You need to collect a flask at 01:19. This makes you invisible (although you see yourself every now and then), but you can still see your trail. It doesn't make the part too much harder, but I did manage to fail a few times here. But what makes this coin a Silver rating is not really its difficulty, but rather the less common way of getting it. Making your icon invisible to get a coin has been done before, but not as much as just a harder route :)
- 3rd coin: Silver. At 01:53 you need to do a very late jump before the blue orb and skip this orb, where you get to a yellow orb and a key, which are pretty hard to notice if you take the normal route (because of screen movement mechanics). This unlocks a slightly altered route afterwards. At 01:57, you need to do a perfectly timed jump when you get the coin (and you're between 2 blocks). I actually died here once. This is also another harder route, but it's a bit more clever in the way it's executed and requires more effort than the wave coin.
