Cornbread French Toast Casserole




6 C Cornbread - cut in 1" cubes
3/4 C Milk
3 Eggs
1/3 C Maple Syrup
2 tsp Vanilla
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Salt



Grease a 9 x 9 baking dish


Arrange cornbread in an even layer in the pan.


In a medium sized bowl whisk until smooth the eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla,
cinnamon, nutmeg & salt.

Pour over cornbread and let sit 15 minutes.

Bake @ 350 f for 40 - 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out
clean.

Let cool 5 minutes before serving.

Dust with powdered sugar and/or maple syrup.
