Fire Beef and Broccoli to match this heat 🥵
Here’s a quick meal idea! I like preparing stir fry’s for lunch or busy days because they are quick to prep and fire to order. I like to prep my mis en place the night before so when I’m ready to cook for lunch I just toss everything into the skillet.
Pro Tip: for an extra saucy beef and broccoli I like to make a stock slurry to add at the end. This is optional but it is worth it if you like the to coat your starch like rice or noodles.
What you’ll need:
6-8 oz Rib eye or flank steak (cut 1/4 inch thick thinly)
Marinate:
3 tbsp Water
3 tbsp Cooking wine
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tbsp Corn starch
1 tbsp Seasoning sauce
1 tbsp Oyster sauce
Sesame oil (optional)
1 tbsp Neutral oil (as a sub)
Sauce:
Soy sauce
Water
Lime (optional)
Sweetener
Garlic
Cornstarch
Sesame oil (optional)
Vegetables:
1 cup Broccoli
1/4 cup Carrot
Crispy garlic for garnish
