Shrimp Omelette (Thai Style) Kai Jeow Goong
This meal is so easy and can be packed with protein depending on how you prepare it. I added shrimp to this one. You can also use ground turkey, tofu, crab etc.
Humble meals will always be my favorite.
What you’ll need:
3 large eggs
1/2 Tbsp Fish sauce
1 Tsp Sugar
1 Green onion
3 Thai chili (less if you want mild)
1 Tsp White pepper
6 medium shrimp diced
Vegetable oil
1. Whisk together your eggs with aromatics and fish sauce.
2. To a hot skillet, add 3-4 Tbsp of veggie oil and let it become hot.
3. Add eggs and allow to bubble and sizzle. Tuck the sides so you get all the egg to brown.
4. Carefully flip the omelette.
5. Serve with hot jasmine rice and a dipping sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
