Passchendaele in Ruins: The Chilling Impact of War
The Belgian village of Passchendaele, now Passendale, was destroyed during the fighting of the massive 1917 battle that would come to be known simply as Passchendaele. This utter destruction was captured in aerial photographs before, during, and after the battle.
