Gatta Curry with Quick Mirchi Pickle गट्टे की सब्ज़ी और झटपट हरी मिर्च का अचार Rajasthani Recipe
A delicious and satisfying Gatte ki sabzi from the desert state of Rajasthan in India. Though it’s called sabzi (vegetable dish) it does not contain vegetables. 'Gattas' are boiled and pan fried dumplings made up of gram flour which are cooked in a luscious curry made using yogurt and a melange of spices. The taste of this dish is out of the world and one full plate can be easily polished off without any rice or roti.

100 g [Gram flour / besan|http://www.simpleglutenfreekitchen.co...]
2 tbsp.(+) greek yogurt
1 tbsp. melted butter or ghee
1/4 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ajwain
1/2 tsp coarsely ground coriander seeds
1/2 tsp dry fenugreek leaves
!For Curry
1 cup (245 g) plain greek yogurt
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
1/3-1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 dry red chili
1 bay leaf
1 (95 g) tomato, pureed
2 tsp roasted besan ( optional)
1 tsp ginger garlic paste (optional)
2 tbsp oil

!Quick Mirchi Pickle
Few long green chilis, salt and red chili powder to taste, turmeric powder, crushed masala of coriander seeds, dry red chilies, and fennel seeds, lemon juice, oil
This pickle can be kept for a week in the fridge.
