Let's start off by acknowledging the incredible outcome when someone truly takes the extra time needed to create something absolutely delicious using only the best ingredients. Edelbrand Distilling pours so much effort and knowledge into their product you feel like you need permission to even take a sip. And when an Edelbrand product hits your tongue, you know immediately you've got something unique. Now, we can't wait to showcase their unaged brandy, but we managed to sneak away with a couple bottles of their bierbrand. What is bierbrand you might ask? We had to. Bierbrands are liquors distilled from beer. Edelbrand works specially with Urban Chestnut (a fantastic brewery out of the St. Louis area) to deliver a spirit that, well, taste like beer. All the best parts of the beer. If your beer consumption has slowed lately, or you find yourself enjoying the flavor but not the gut filling nature of beer, a bierbrand might be the way to go. Now we can't speak for all of them (and in fact, we've heard some not great things about most of them), but Edelbrand's bierbrand partnership with Urban Chestnut is simply delicious. The only downside here is how easy it drinks at 40% abv. This bottle could easily be killed in a sitting. Cheers!

You can call us Taste Buds or the Two Guys behind the counter, it doesn't matter to us.
