The stretching intensity can determine the quality of your flexibility training and of course your results!
Research today has shown that lower intensity static stretching has a greater positive effect on flexibility than higher intensity static stretching. However, note that this peace of data goes for methods like Passive Static Stretching, where you take a stretching position and hold it for a specific amount of time. More complex and advanced flexibility training methods might require higher intensities for trained individuals.
