Whether you're training for the splits, the bridge, or just to touch your toes, the reality is that you don't just train flexibility. Of course, the natural result of your efforts is indeed increasing your flexibility. However, an improved range of motion can directly or indirectly enhance your overall performance in various ways. In this video, I discuss three ways that flexibility training increases strength in direct and indirect ways.

This video is meant to shed light on less popular aspects of how our bodies work in relation to different training models. Many times, the intended outcome comes by practicing something completely different, like training flexibility to improve your squat strength.
