Homescreen customisations: Starting off with the home screen, Honor has been kind enough to give a lot of customisation options. For instance, you can change the layout of the screen by long pressing the home screen and going to settings. Although you can only change it to few existing options.
Disable Google now Screen: I personally love that they have given the google now screen at the right side of the screen but I'm sure there are a lot of people who wouldn't want that. to disable that go to the same settings and disable the Google Feed toggle.
Align Apps with a Shake: Since honor doesn't have the Apps menu, all your apps would be jumbled on the screen and when you uninstall it's very irritating to change the app position. Lucky for us, honor has provided a shortcut to align apps with a shake and it is really handy when there are a lot of empty space on your screen. It is also located on the same settings page.
System navigations: Honor view 10 comes with this massive 18:9 screen which is absolutely stunning and here's the thing which I loved about honor 10 compared to OP5T, you can actually hide the navigation buttons and use the navigation dock or Fingerprint gestures (highly recommended) to navigate through the phone. You can tap once to go back, tab and hold to come to the home screen and swipe to get the recent apps menu. I have been used to it and I'm gonna find it hard to switch back to any other device after I'm done with review
Internet Speed on Status bar: Coming to the next one, I don't know why but I love having the option to see my network speed on the status bar. If you want to have the speed displayed on status bar you need to turn that on from the settings-apps and notification-notification and status bar- from this menu enable the display network speed.
Battery Percent Indicator: You can also get the battery percent indicator from the same screen by selecting the last option. You can either have it besides the battery or inside the battery icon:
Hide Private Files: Now let's talk about Security, you know how all stock android devices have Guest account feature where you can have two different profiles on one device? Honor view 10 takes it to another level with a seamless transition. You have to enable it from security & privacy and set another fingerprint for that mode and boom! Next time you use that finger it'll take you to another profile where you won't have any data.
Lock Screen Signature: almost every phone nowadays allows you to keep a lock screen message and honor view 10 doesn't miss that out. To set the lock screen-message go to settings-privacy and security-lock screen. In there you will find an option to add a lock screen signature
Show steps count on lock screen (Funny Screen) - while you are at it. Change screen resolution ( Save Battery): The battery life of Honor View 10 is astonishing, I get over 6/7 hours of screen time easily even after using the Spiltscreen mode for hours. However, if you want to further increase the battery you can switch the resolution to lower settings and it'll drastically improve your battery life.
Disable unwanted sounds: Honor view 10 by default has the lock screen/screenshot/dailpad sounds and vibration on. To turn that off you need to go into settings-sound and then more sound settings at the bottom.
