Hello, guys namaste welcome back to AndroTrix! If you've been following me on twitter or Instagram you would know that I was invited to the Realme 2 Pro launch event in Delhi and I feel this is gonna bring serious competition to the All smartphones between 10000 to 25000! In this video, I'm gonna talk about everything you need to know about the Realme 2 Pro! Also before starting the video, I wanna show you a quick magic! You see the red button down there! The Realme 2 Pro has to be one of the best-looking smartphones under the price range of 25000 or even 30000, its the only phone in its price range that comes
with 6.3-inch super-view Dewdrop Full Screen, with the front camera embedded at the top and astonishing 90.8% screen-to-body ratio.
Realme 2 Pro comes in 3 colors namely Black Sea, Blue Ocean, and Ice Lake. I personally love all the color, all of them are unique in itself but the one I'm gonna buy will be the Ice lake! This color definitely feels a lot like the Redmi Note 5 Pro Blue variant but only better. The back is the sectional lamination of 15 atomic layers which delivers a glass-like sense and I would prefer this material over the polycarbonate material any time of the day! Although I have to mention that it'll attract more fingerprint than the Poco F1 as well.
Anyway moving on to the specification, this phone comes out of the box with snapdragon 660 and has 3 variants as mentioned on the screen right now! (4+64/6+64 /8+128) I can't believe that we are actually seeing brands offer 8GB RAM and 128 storage option below in sub 20000 price range! The future of the budget flagship seems to good to be real! Also, if you are not a RAM digger and would want to save some money then you can go with the 4+64 or 6+64 variant as you can always increase the storage via micro SD card which is expandable up to 256 GB!
It is also packed with 3500 mAh battery life which on paper does seem to be less compared to Poco or the Redmi Note 5 Pro but I will have to test out before commenting anything about it
Realme 2 Pro also has a dual camera setup with 16MP + 2MP rear camera! Well, they claim that it lets you capture studio-quality portraits, along with 5 modes of portrait lighting. I didn't get to take the pictures I clicked from that smartphone but I really loved the color it was able to produce. The edge detection was a hit or miss in few shots I tried but it definitely looked promising! The phone also has 16 MP selfie camera along with various modes like stickers which you can use to have fun as well as panorama mode to assist you to take photos when you have a lot of friends around.
The phone comes with Color OS 5.2 which is based on Android Oreo and this is the first time I had my hands on this OS and the initial impressions weren't impressive! I barely got time to play with the UI but as you know I'm a sucker for stock Android experience and this phone is far from what stock android feels like.
Well, that's all I have to say about this device for now but I definitely would want to review this device on my channel. I know its very silly and far-fetched but I would really appreciate if you can retweet the tweet which I have mentioned in the description box below! There's just one percent chance of getting the device by this but then you have heard about the saying right? you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
