Hello, guys namaste welcome back to AndroTrix,
I recently got the RGB keyboard from gamdias which you might already know if you are following me on Instagram! I did the quick unboxing there in case you missed it, here it is! (Don't miss out on awesome stuff, follow me @pateldharmik14) I have been using it daily since then and in this video, I'll give my review on the Gamdias mechanical keyboard.
I was switching to this keyboard after using my Motospeed CK104 for over 8 months and I have to say, this keyboard feels really premium. From the design to the way it feels to type on these keys it is simply amazing!
It can be clearly made out that it is a gaming keyboard from the first look itself.
It has the standard layout along with the wrist rest at the bottom and some kickass design at the back side of the keyboard. At the bottom, you'll find the extension to raise the keyboard just like you get on any other keyboard.
The keys used in this keyboard are blue mechanical keys and well that's the only information they have given out. They say it is gamdias certified and are engineered to give over 50 million keystrokes. I really like the noise and the feel of the mechanical keyboard and it surely delivers that without a doubt.
Now for the next part lets turn off the lights, as the true essences of the keyboard lie in its backlit keys! Although I'm a bit disappointed as the color of the keys are predecided and you cannot change that but they do offer 14 different variety of color effect which you can run on this device. You can also control the speed of the effect which you have used and make a custom preset as per your wish.
also as it is a gaming keyboard they have also given preset to popular games like counter strike Dota 2 worlds of tanks which you can use by using the shortcut keys.
It also has media keys on the "F" keys which is an added bonus for users to quickly access the media player. I found myself using that a lot over a period of time.
As much as I loved this keyboard there are few things where I was totally disappointed. Coming from a compact style keyboard this keyboard is huge! thanks to the nonremovable wrist rest lying at the bottom of the keyboard. It also has fixed led lights for each key and they are not customisable in any way, the red remains at red and the green remains at the green in all the modes you use.
I personally found these things inconvenient because I've already used a compact mechanical keyboard if this is going to be your first experience on the mechanical keyboard then I'm sure you are gonna thank me for suggesting this one.
