51 Partners and 200M in Volume in Under a Year
I spent part of the day with a broker that's introduced 51 partners and around 200m into his operation in the last 12 months. He's more of a RM than a broker now in that he spends his days building his business and doesn't bother with the monkey work. As a broker in his mentoring period he has two brokers working for him (these guys are more than happy with the arrangement).
We've now got a handful of brokers that have over 100 partners (with a very large number over 30). The 20/12/8/3/1 rule applies in that five bilateral referral relationships will introduce the majority of your introducer business, while one in every hundred (thus far) will always refer 150m+. Apart from the clear risk blanket applied in larger numbers, you'll always find better partners, and numbers directly equate to volume.
I'm spending time with at least a couple of brokers this week, and I'll try and document them. One of them (on Wednesday) will be introducing his first partner to the mix (via our methods), so I'll be sure to share his feedback.
