How to Update Windows Server 2008 R2 to 2012 R2
In this video, I'm going to show you how to perform an update from Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows Server 2012 R2. For most installs there will be a point in which it asks for the key just put the key in and click next. This version has the key already included in the installer which is the reason you didn't see it pop up looking for it.
Don't forget you have to be booted up in the Server 2008 OS before you can start the installer to perform the upgrade.
