Apple iPAD 2 Model A1430 64GB Uses iPAD 3 Digitizer
In this video, I'm going to settle a huge debate about the Apple iPAD 2... There are two different digitizers (The outer touch screen) that these devices can use. This particular model is the A1430 64GB model and the owner had ordered the iPAD 2 digitizer after getting the old one off and the new one out of it's safe packaging, it was immediately noticed that they were not the same screen... The ownder had ordered an iPAD 2 screen for this iPAD 2 when it actually uses the digitizer for the iPAD 3...
This is a great example of always check the exact model and reference by that model what parts are needed... Sure enough, this one it was highly recommended to order the iPAD 3 digitizer as the later newer iPAD 2 was being released with a newer mother board that uses the iPAD 3 digitizer.
