Kali Linux 2016.2 Overview
In this video, I give a brief overview of the newest version of Kali Linux. The newer versions are now rolling updates and no longer require such a large install each time to get the newer version.
Rapid 7 no longer allows the full version of Metasploit to be baked into the Kali linux OS.
Kali is a Linux Distro built off of Ubuntu and was formerly called Back Trace. This is a Linux distro designed specifically with the purpose of penetration testing and/or hacking. It comes pre packaged with all the tool necessary for a penetration tester to be able to test their customer or organization's IT security and report what they found and if they were successful at breaking into the systems better known as compromise.
We are in no way shape or form associated with Kali nor the development or distribution. We simply suggest this OS and tools as it is an essential part to know what is out there that can be used for security testing, and can be used by the black hats against you as well.
