Getting my DREAM job in the GAMES INDUSTRY was... HARD!
You have a portfolio. You are working hard. But it feels like it's taking a long time to get results... you apply for jobs and get ignored, and you see people getting hired all the time on social media. You then see how much more experienced other people are, and ask, "Will I ever make it?".
Getting a good job in the games industry sometimes can take a long time, depending on where you live and market conditions. But there are steps and mindsets we can adopt to accelerate the process.
In this video, I invite you to join me on a walk, as I share thoughts on the subject, how I got my "dream jobs", and the patterns that you can apply to your own journey. This is absolutely the number one question I receive, and I wanted to give a long answer to everyone serious about building their own path.
My intention with this video is to encourage you to fight for your dreams, and hopefully help to shorten the path for you. Nothing in life is guaranteed, but there are some patterns that we can pick up to guide our journey toward our intended direction.
