Dopo quattro anni di attesa, la sfilata del 23 febbraio 2020 era stata bloccata pochi minuti prima del via a causa del Covid: sono tornati oggi, giorno 19 Febbraio 2023, i carri allegorici in occasione del Carnevale. Per la prima volta la sfidata degli otto carri realizzati dall’associazione Carnevale di Vigevano, hanno sfilato in una sola giornata: non è infatti prevista la “replica” martedì. L’evento è scattato intorno alle 14.30 con la sfilata lungo corso Cavour, via Dante, via San Francesco, via Merula, corso Vittorio Emanuele per arrivare in piazza Ducale. Subito dopo nel grande palco collocato in piazza Ducale si sono esibite le scuole di danza. Poi il gruppo Msici e Alieri dell’Onda Sforzesca e i bambini delle scuole materne Addolorata e San Pietro Martire.

After four years of waiting, the parade of 23 February 2020 had been blocked a few minutes before the start due to the Covid pandemic: today, February 19th 2023, the allegorical floats returned for the Carnival. For the first time the challenge of the eight floats made by the Vigevano Carnival association paraded in a single day: in fact, there is no "repeat" or “replica” foreseen for this event on the following Tuesday. The event started around 2.30 pm with the parade along Corso Cavour, via Dante, via San Francesco, via Merula, corso Vittorio Emanuele to arrive in piazza Ducale. Immediately afterwards, the dance schools performed on the large stage located in Piazza Ducale. Then the Msici and Alieri group of the Onda Sforzesca and the children of the Addolorata and San Pietro Martire nursery schools.

All clips shot with my Canon EOS M with MagicLantern custom firmware hack, taken at 4K Anamorphic FRTP mode, at 1440( x3) x 1836, 23.97fps, 2.35:1 A/R, 12 bit. All editing, color correction (primary), cuts, music sync etc carried out in DaVinci Resolve 16.5. Lenses used: Canon EF-M 11-22 F4-5.6 IS STM and Canon EF-M 15-45 F3.5-6.3 IS STM. Clips converted via MLVApp to ProRes 422 HQ for export abd editing.Video’s file-size 4.39GB, average bit rate 70Mbps.
