The “Varese Auto & Moto Storiche Club”, ASI federated since 2007, co-organised the 1st “Concorso d'Eleganza” (Elegance Trophy) for historic collectible cars with the Fisogni Museum of Tradate, “Guinness World Record” for the largest collection of petrol pumps in the world (a dedicated video on that will follow).
The event was held yesterday, Saturday 7 October '23, in the park and headquarters of the Fisogni Museum.
Participation was open to 50 historic cars selected by the jury of experts on the basis of the applications. Cars allowed from origin up to 1993.
Participation in the “first elegance competition” was totally free: each crew received a museum book, a welcome drink and a visit to the museum as a gift.
During the day, it has been possible to pay a visit to the nearby Frera Motorcycle Museum, easily reachable on foot in 10 minutes.
From 3.00 pm there was a parade of all the participating historic cars, with their presentation by a professional speaker expert in historic motoring.
At 4.00 pm the polls were closed for the election of the cars according to the popular jury.
At 4.30 pm the winners of the various categories was announced, based on the type of car bodywork and their dating, both on the basis of the results of the popular jury and the expert jury.

Il Club Varese Auto Moto Storiche, federato ASI dal 2007, ha co-organizzato con il Museo Fisogni di Tradate, “Guinness World Record” per la maggiore collezione al mondo di pompe di benzina, il 1° Concorso d’Eleganza per auto storiche da collezione.
L’evento si è tenuto ieri, sabato 7 ottobre ‘23, nel parco e sede del Museo Fisogni.
La partecipazione era aperta a n.50 auto storiche selezionate dalla giuria degli esperti sulla base delle candidature. Ammesse auto dall’origine fino all’anno 1993.
La partecipazione al primo concorso d’eleganza è stata totalmente gratuita: ogni equipaggio ha ricevuto in dono un libro del museo, un drink di benvenuto e la visita al museo.
Durante la giornata, è stato anche possibile effettuare una visita al vicino Museo della Motocicletta Frera, facilmente raggiungibile a piedi in 10 minuti.
Dalle ore 15.00 si è svolta una sfilata delle auto storiche partecipanti, con presentazione delle stesse da parte di uno speaker professionale esperto di automobilismo storico.
Alle ore 16.00 si sono chiuse le urne per l’elezione delle auto secondo la giuria popolare.
Alle ore 16.30 sono stati proclamati i vincitori delle varie categorie, formate per tipologia delle carrozzerie delle auto e loro datazione, sia in base ai risultati della giuria popolare sia della giuria degli esperti.
