Hi all! I had these clips laying around, sitting in my HD unused. These were shot in the same location as the one in this video (published 3 weeks ago):    • WINTER // CANON EOS M - MAGIC LANTERN...   . I think these clips are just gorgeous, very sharp, and really deserved to be put together in a video instead of sitting in a HD folder doing nothing. So, thought about giving them a second chance, despite having published, already, a rather similar video only a few weeks ago. So, this is it, put all those valuable video clips together on a timeline, added music, color correction and grading ... et voilà.... Hope you'll like it.

Location description:
Mottarone is a mountain in the Western Alps of Piedmont, north-western Italy, with an elevation of 1,491 metres (4,892 ft). It is located between the provinces of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and Novara. The peak is in the communal territory of Stresa, between Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore. The source of the Agogna river is located in the mountain. The Mottarone area is known for the production of cheese, the most renowned of which is the Toma del Mottarone. It is possible to reach the peak of Mottarone by car. There are two roads: the first comes up from Armeno, west of the Mottarone summit near Lake Orta; the second, a private toll road, begins from Alpino, a frazione of Stresa on the eastern side of the summit. On foot, it's possible to reach the summit using path L1 from Stresa (designated CAI Stresa), which passes near the railway station. The suggested time to the summit is 4:20 from the station. The mountain of Mottarone (1491 m), which with its gentle, grassy slopes divides Lake Maggiore from Lake Orta, offers one of the most breathtaking views of the lakes and the distant Alps. The sight is unique: an uninterrupted 360° panorama from the Ligurian Apennines and the Maritime Alps to the Monte Rosa massif, the Monviso and the high peaks of Switzerland, across the Po Plain, and the unequalled spectacle of seven lakes (Orta, Maggiore, Mergozzo, Biandronno, Varese, Monate, Comabbio).

These clips, as mentioned above, were shot well before those used in the above mentioned video, roughly 3 months earlier, to be more precise at the beginning of November, not too long from the very start (which was rather late this year) of the autumn season, as far as colors go. The location was already covered with snow sprinkle, which added more atmosphere and colors to the environment.

Video:
Clips shot after a very recent and, possibly, the very first, for this season, snowfall, offering the visitors a unique, amazing and very pleasant view of the sorroundings, as well as the close mountanins, almost entirely convered in snow.
