The Chicago Cubs Spring Training is underway and the first big announcement came Saturday when Manger Craig Counsell announced to the media the Christopher Morel would be focused on Third Base. Morel as proven to be a dangerous power hitting option who doesn't have defensive position in the field. Mick Gillispie looks at the possibility of Morel having an impact on the roster if he can settle in as the everyday starter. He could also give the Cubs a reason not to feel the need to sign Gold Glove third baseman Matt Chapman.
