Breaking! Bote DFA'd and Luis Vazquez Joins Cubs
The Cubs designated Bote for assignment. Bote hasn't started a game for Chicago since July 28 the 31-year-old this season was slashing .301/.333/.391 in 48 plate appearances. Luis Vazquaz has been recalled from Iowa and will join the Cubs Friday.
