In their series opener against the Pirates on Monday, the Cubs destroyed Pittsburgh, winning 18-8 at PNC Park to get back to .500.
Pete Crow-Armstrong and Miguel Amaya continue to be catalysts for this team as they progress offensively - Amaya had his first four hit game and PCA tallied 3 of the Cubs 8 steals (their most since 1913).
The icing on the cake was a Dansby Swanson grand slam to cap off an 8-run sixth inning, but for good measure, the Cubs added six runs in the top of the 9th to truly pull away.
The Cubs will look to get above .500 for the first time since early June on Tuesday.
