Jamuary #29 - Mellow moments (ft. vcvrack, eurorack, soundplane)
Today is a mellow jam - something to relax and chill out to... at least for me :)
yesterday was quite a bit of setup effort, with technical challenges, so today I wanted to enjoy what Id got working, refine it, and just let my music float away a bit.
Setup is pretty similar to yesterday.
of course, I tweaked and changed the sounds.
also I decided to let the eurorack be kind of generative, basically the pyramid has the same chords programmed as the piano, but then they are sent to an arp, and then each note is randomly chosen to be played or not.
so its always 'related' to the underlying harmony, but is never the same.
vcvrack again used to host the insturment vsts, and fx.
the piano is run thru a vult filter.
and then Ive also got the vult complex osillator and filter being used to accompany the piano occasionally... the layer creates a bit more energy i think.
really enjoyed making this.
