Peter Dutton takes aim at Albanese at farmers rally outside parliament
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has taken aim at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese during a national farmers rally outside Parliament House.
A massive truck convoy of farmers across Australia has travelled to Canberra to rally outside Parliament House.
"I wanted to be here with the Prime Minister to give you a message to say that they weren't going to destroy your industry, but the Prime Minister can't give you that guarantee," Mr Dutton said.
"We [The Coalition] have your backs and are committed to this industry.
"We are committed to your sector.
"We want to make sure there is a bright future for you, for your kids, and your grandkids."
