Labor government ‘shut down’ farming sector with the ‘stroke of a pen’
Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says the government has "shut down" a whole industry with the "stroke of a pen".
Thousands of farmers are rallying in Canberra on Tuesday to protest against what they call the government's anti-farming ideology.
A convoy of at least 100 trucks is expected to drive past Parliament House.
"You just got to wonder what the government's priorities are right now when they are not supporting industries like farming, like mining that can help all the rest of us all have a better economy," Mr Canavan told Sky News Australia.
