‘Nationwide solution’: SA Premier discusses move to restrict children from social media
South Australia Premier Peter Malinauskas has reflected on federal government plans to adopt a “nationwide solution” for social media restrictions on children.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has pledged to legislate a minimum age for social media use in a bid to “keep children safe” from the many dangers online.
Mr Albanese made the announcement on Monday night, publishing a short message to his official social media channels.
Mr Malinauskas said a "nationwide solution" is a "far better approach than a hotchpotch of arrangements around states."
